Also, while we were here, Zagreb had their largest earthquake since 1880, and while many buildings and apartments were severely damaged, Vinko’s apartment unit got nothing more than a few spots of cracked plaster. Come to find out, the walls of this unit are 50-80cm thick, and the ceiling is steel beam reinforced (Website hidden by Airbnb) built like a tank, and handled the quake like a champ ? The apartment itself is perfectly situated, close to grocery stores, shopping, a mall and movie theater, and many transit options (though it’s a perfectly walkable location). There’s a large park a block away, where we go for walks every day. Food delivery options are plentiful, and Uber is available. Inside, it’s very spacious, with 2 very large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a huge tub, a separate shower, a large living room with a big couch, a large 4K TV (also flat screen TVs in each bedrooms), super fast 100mbps internet/wifi, large kitchen and dining. 2.5 years of digital nomad living, this is the nicest place we’ve found ? Vinko is fast to respond, very helpful, and extremely generous. Would 100% stay here again!”Beautiful apartment in the city center.
