What is the service fee?

We charge landlords 8% of the total booking value.

What do I need to rent with Grabahome?

Grabahome has a minimum stay period of 14 days. The listing should represent what the tenant will find as accurately as possible. Adding more features to your listing will bring you more bookings.

How do payments work?

To book their place, tenants pay Grabahome the first month of rent (or full payment for renting up to a month). After the tenant moves in, Grabahome then transfers this first payment to the landlord, deducting a commission fee from the payments. The remaining payments will be paid by the tenant directly to you.

Why do I have to pay a commission fee?

Our fees allow us to operate our platform and services: a dedicated customer support team, secure payment processing, API integrations and fraud detection. We only charge this small commission fee when a tenant successfully books your place. And remember, on Grabahome you can list an unlimited number of properties for free.

What happens if a tenant cancels a booking?

All landlords are covered by our landlord guarantee, meaning that, if the tenant cancels, we will find you a suitable replacement or you will receive first month’s rent. Note that we only payout the first month’s rent 24 hours after the tenant has moved in and provided that the reality of your place matches what was advertised in your listing.

Do you guarantee the payment of the monthly rent?

We currently do not offer this sort of guarantee. However, we encourage landlords to set a security deposit in case of tenants leaving before the agreed move-out date.

Will I know anything about the tenant before I accept the booking request?

For all reservations you receive, you will get the information about the tenant’s gender, nationality, date of birth, occupation. Additionally, every tenant needs to write something about himself  to request the booking.
